Yolanda
Biosca
d. May 10, 2026
Millville
Yolanda Biosca, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on May 10, 2026, Mother's Day, after a courageous battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Yolanda spent most of her life in Millville, where she built a life centered around love, family, kindness, and devotion to others. She was the beloved wife of Luis E. Biosca for 45 wonderful years until his passing in 2022. Caring for him through his illness was one of the many examples of the selfless love that defined who she was. He was her world, and now they are together again.
Yolanda was a devoted mother to her daughters Jessica and Angela, and a proud grandmother to Alejandro and Eva Sofia, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her siblings Charley, Rachel, Georgie, Anna, and Luis, along with many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis, and her brothers Freddie, Mickey, and Jose.
For many years, Yoland worked as a cafeteria aide for Millville Public Schools, where her warmth and kindness touched countless students and coworkers. She had a way of making people feel cared for wherever she went. Everyone who knew her speaks of how sweet, loving, and genuine she was. She was the kind of person who would make sure everyone else was fed before sitting down herself, who remembered every birthday and holiday, and who would give the shirt off her back to help someone she loved.
Nothing made Yolanda happier than being surrounded by family. She loved shopping, decorating, and celebrating the holidays laughing with the people she loved, and creating memories together. She was truly the heart of her family and an outstanding example of what it means to be a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
In February 2026, Yolanda was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Even through everything she endured, she remained incredibly strong and continued fighting with grace and courage. After a short stay in the hospital, she passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side, holding her hand as she took her final breath.
The loss of Yolanda leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her, but her love, strength, warmth, and beautiful spirit will live on forever through the family she cherished so deeply.
She will be missed beyond words and forever loved.
