William J. Smith, age 83 of Cedarville, passed away suddenly Sunday evening, November 29, 2020,  at Inspira Medical Center.

Born in Millville, Bill had lived in Millville for most of his life before moving to Cedarville in 2016. He was a Snap-on Tool Dealer for over 40 years, servicing Cumberland County and surroundings areas. Bill was an avid car enthusiast. He loved to show cars as much as he loved to restore them. He was a member of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg, Early Ford V-8 , and Antique Automobile Club of America.

Bill was predeceased by his grand daughter, Kayla Elaine Smith, and his brothers, Edward, Mark, Robert, and Cornell.

He is survived by: his wife of  57 years, Linda; sons, Bill Smith and his wife Donna, Steve Huff and his wife Peggy, and Karl Smith and his wife Doris; sisters, Eva Reeves and Jean Show; brother, LeRoy Brown; grandchildren, Steven and Darren (Ashleigh) Huff, Karl Jr. and Travis Smith, Jaelyn, Cain, Julien, and Brooklyn Miller and great grandchildren, Zac, Rylee, and Aubree Huff.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill's viewing Friday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. There will be a service for the family 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
