Nichols, Jr.

Millville
William Joseph Nichols, Jr., 64, passed away on September 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 17, 1960, to William Nichols, Sr. and Barbara Nichols, Bill grew up with his four siblings—Peggy Saunders and her husband Glen, Andrea Saito and her husband Leighton, Cindy Miyomato and husband Gary, John Nichols and his wife Tracy—alongside many nieces and nephews who shared a lifetime of memories and family bonds. He was predeceased by his sister, Cindy Miyamoto, his father William and his grandparents, Andrew and Harriet Rocap.
Bill built his life around love, laughter, and devotion to family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly (Groves) Nichols, and their two children: Jessica Krumins and her husband Matthew, and William Nichols III, mother, Barbara and 3 of his siblings, nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his strength, humor, and guidance.
He began his career working alongside his father at Millville Lumber Company, later helping to build log cabins with his dad, his brother John, and his nephew Eddie. He completed his career as a proud member of the BAC union, working for Vineland Tile.
Bill enjoyed fishing with his dad, brother, and son, as well as kayaking and nearly anything that allowed him to be outdoors. Bill loved cooking and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with his daughter Jessica.
Bills beloved dog Bailey occupied most of his time. She loved her dad and will miss him every day.
He will be remembered not only as a husband, father, brother, son, and uncle, but also as a man whose presence filled a room, whose loyalty ran deep, and whose love left an indelible mark on everyone blessed to know him.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, with visitation from 12 PM to 2 PM, followed by the service, 2PM, at Barr Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the legacy of a man whose spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved most.
