William Stewart Muhlbaier Jr.
October 3, 1968 – September 24, 2025
William "Bill" Muhlbaier Jr., affectionately known to many as "Coach Bill", "Big Dawg", and "ONEmoreTOY," passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Vineland, New Jersey, on October 3, 1968, Bill made his home in Millville, New Jersey, where he built a life filled with family, laughter, and adventure.
Bill began his career with Prudential Healthcare in 1989, where he worked as an Insurance Claims Processing Supervisor before becoming an Electronic Commerce Manager in 1991. In 1994, he transitioned to IBM, where he worked as a Client Partner Executive for over 25 years. In 2021, he joined Kyndryl as a Director – Senior Global Client Partner, continuing to make a lasting impact through his dedication and leadership until his passing.
A man of many passions, Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, cruising, traveling, metal detecting, coaching, gardening, and gaming. He was known for his humor, hard work, and generosity. Above all, he was devoted to his family, embodying selflessness, wisdom, and resilience in every aspect of his life.
Family was his greatest pride. He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Stephanie; his son, William Dennis; and his daughter, Brooke Elizabeth (Mattiucci), who will forever carry his wisdom, jokes, and unconditional love in their hearts. He is also survived by his father, William Sr., and his brother, Brian. Bill now reunites with his beloved mother, Laura, who passed in 2017.
Those who knew Bill will remember him as funny, hardworking, and endlessly supportive. He was the guy you could count on, the one who pushed through challenges with grit, and the one who always knew how to make you laugh—sometimes when you needed it most.
Bill's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of love and laughter will live on in his family and friends.
A service will be held to celebrate Bill's life on October 4th, 2025, at 1 PM with visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM at Barr Funeral Home on 2104 E Main St., Millville, NJ. In lieu of flower donations, please consider donating to the University of Pennsylvania's Abramson Cancer Center in his honor.
