William Frank Holmes (Bill), 87, of Millville passed away peacefully at home in the care of his wife and daughter, Margaret.

Bill was born in Millville on January 30,1939 to William and Margaret (Cox) Holmes.  After serving 9 years in the US Navy, Bill returned to Millville and worked as mechanic for Wheaton Industries in Mays Landing.  He met and married the love of his life, Ruth, and raised their family in Millville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Daniel Carty.

rvived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth (Riggins), his children Tammy Carty (Dave), Margaret Holmes, Bill Holmes (Tina), his grandchildren David Carty, Tony, Jessica & Joey Santangelo, Michaela & William Holmes and eight great-grandchildren.
