Walter J. Sarlo, Jr. age 59 of Franklinville, passed away on Sunday evening, August 29, 2021.

Born in Camden, Walt had lived in Mount Royal, NJ for over 23 years before moving to Franklinville in 2016. After graduating high school, he had served in the Army National Guard for 6 years before attending Cumberland County College and earning an Associate's Degree and a Certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Walt was an avid runner and scuba diver. He was a third tier scuba instructor (IDC staff instructor). He volunteered helping the handicapped wishing to scuba dive to attain their dream. He enjoyed home remodeling and hanging out with friends and family and was often the "life of the party". He had an incredible sense of humor and a snickering laugh that was contagious. Walt may be best known for his love of all things Disney. He truly loved Walt Disney World in Florida and traveled there every year to experience the magic of Disney.

Walt is survived by his fiancé, Fawn Wenzel Bradley and her children, Sawyer, Wyatt and Baye Bradley; grandson, Frankie Buckley, godson, Eric Otero, former wife, Susan Sarlo, and many friends that considered him a part of their families. He will be greatly missed by his beloved dog, Ellen.

A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday evening, September 2, 2021, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. The funeral service will be private. To honor Walt's love of Disney, please wear Disney apparel or brightly colored clothing.
