Virginia Summers, age 84 of Millville, passed away Tuesday morning , November 26, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family.

Virginia was born in Waynesville, NC, and moved to New Jersey in 1947. She lived most of her life in Dividing Creek. She has been a Millville resident since 1992. Virginia was a stay at home mother who enjoyed flowers, gradening and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and traveling to see those who lived outside New Jersey.

She is preceased by her husband Emmett, daughter, Genevieve Miller, two sisters Mae Shelton and Mary Taylor, and four brothers, Lonzo,Troy, LV and Johnny Hannah.

Virginia is survived by her 9 children, Emmitt "Ray"; Paul Sr. (Vicki); her special son Timothy; Donald (Emily); Jerrie Scates; Linda Bradway; Darlene Hitzelberger (Kenny); Peggie Mainiero (Ed) and June Clemick (Alex) her six brothers, Willis Hannah(Carolyn); William Hannah (Paula); Lewis Hannah (Betty), Eugene Hannah (Emma); Thomas Hannah (Doris), all of Millville and James Marvin Hannah (Pearl) of Sevierville, TN, one sister Nellie Clements (Paul) of Hendersonville, NC, brother-in-law James Taylor, sister-in-law Mary Lou Hannah and 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Virginia's funeral services on Sunday evening and Monday morning, December 1st and 2nd . There will be a viewing on Sunday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM followed by funeral service at 8 PM in the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Monday in Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Haleyville.
