Vincent T. Turpin, "Uncle Vip", age 45 of Fairton died suddenly on April 28, 2014 as the result of a car accident. Vince most recently worked at Cumberland Tire in Bridgeton as an ASE certified mechanic. He was a true outdoorsman who liked fishing, crabbing, woodworking and music. He loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas.

Vince is survived by: his mother, Elizabeth Steever; father, Daniel Turpin; sister, Sylvia Dutton and husband Lew; son, Vincent T. Turpin II and wife Liz; son, Brandon and wife Megan; grandchildren, Abby, Cayne, Julian, Joshua, and Jayden; his dearest companion, Dee Seay; niece Hollie and nephew Jacob. He is also survived by his estranged wife Trudi Griner Turpin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service 7 pm Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. Friends will be received from 6 pm to 7 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
