Santo Merlino, age 91, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. Born in Rometta Superiore, Sicily, he moved to Millville in 1969 and has been a resident since. He had worked for Wheaton Glass in the packing department. Santo was a loving father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed by his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Francesca Maria Merlino, and a daughter Loredana Lyons.

Santo is survived by his 5 children, Rose Maria Stiefel; Roberta Miller; Matilde Teston; Joseph Merlino; and Richard Merlino, Sr., several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held for Santo on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Millville, where he now rests alongside his wife Francesca.

The funeral arrangements were under the direction of Barr Funeral Home.
