Roger Simpkins, age 86 of Millville, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at home.
Roger was a lifelong resident of Millville, and had been Principal of Bacon School for 27 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed going to the horse races and to Atlantic City. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Dave.
Roger is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna Lee Simpkins; daughter, Cathy White; granddaughters, Tracy Gonzales and her husband Junior, Jennifer Chain and her husband Jamin, and Jacquelyne White (AJ); great grandsons, Michael and Kyle Gonzales; stepson, Jamie Sharp, and step great grandson Stian Sharp.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6 PM to 8 PM at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Roger's memory to Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Dr. Vineland, NJ 08360.
