Rodney W. Taylor, age 45 of Millville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Born in Millville, Rodney was a lifelong resident and had attended Millville Public Schools. He was a union carpenter for many years and most recently was employed by Video Pipe Services in Newfield. Rodney enjoyed fishing crabbing and boating. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, NASCAR, and pro golf. Rodney was a talented craftsman who could build or fix anything. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends and treasured the moments he shared with his daughter, Cydney.
Rodney is survived by: his parents, Wayne and Debra Taylor; his daughter "greatest joy" Cydney; step brother, Dylan Taylor; and step sons Joseph Tenowich and Steven Harris; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Ginger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rodney's memorial service 8 PM Tuesday at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville, where they may visit with the family from 6 PM to 8 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a local food bank or the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
