Robert John Martin, Sr., age 74 of Millville, passed away Friday afternoon, September 10, 2021.

Bob, or "Kool" as he was called by many, was a lifelong resident of Millville, graduating from Millville High School in 1966. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War as an air crash and rescue fireman. After his war service he was a volunteer fireman for Millville Fire Department for many years. He was also an active member of the Vineland Moose Lodge # 434, serving as Administrator for most of his membership. He was also a longtime member of the Millville VFW and American Legion.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Angelina (Ann) Martin and a niece, Kimberly Tuso.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Happy Martin; sons, Edward Pompper (Jennifer), Robert Martin, Jr. (Jessica), and Kenneth Martin (Holly); daughter, Kelly Martin; grandchildren, Ed Pompper, Jr., Elliot Pompper, Domenic Martin, Max Franklin, and Guilianna Martin; great granddaughter, Lily Pompper; brother, James Martin (Linda); nephews, James Martin (Amy) and Kyle Moore; niece, Steffanie Moore; great niece, Sandra Tuso; and great nephew Frank Tuso.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kool's viewing and funeral service on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Barr Funeral home, 2104 E. main Street, Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
