Robert A. Lacaillade, Sr., 72, son of Helen F. (Doyle) and Henry E. Lacaillade, Sr., passed away on November 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 9th, 1952, and raised in Dunellen, NJ. He entered the U.S. Army in July of 1971 and served as a military police officer with the 521st M. P. company at Fort Belvoir, VA until August 1974. He moved to Millville, NJ in 1976 and served as police officer there for 18 years, retiring as a Sergeant. Robert lived a life of hard work and dedicated his life to helping others. He was a good man who saved several lives and influenced many more throughout his career.

Robert will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 54 years, Pamela J. (Perry) Lacaillade. Together, they built a loving family that brought immense pride and joy to Robert throughout his life. He is survived by their three children: Pamela J. Lacaillade-Kilroy (Phil), Jessica M. Caez (Max), and Robert A. Lacaillade, Jr., each of his children carries forward his legacy of kindness, integrity, and dedication.

As a cherished grandfather, Robert will be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren: Katharine F. Lacaillade (Kyle), Mason R. Caez, Olivia C. Caez, and Jordan T. Caez (Aspen). His presence in their lives was a source of unwavering support, wisdom, and love, and his memory will remain a guiding light for them.

Robert is also survived by his sister Judith's husband, Allen J. Magory, Sr., and his nephew, Allen J. Magory, Jr. (Devin), many other in-laws, and friends who knew and loved Robert, including his dog, Maisie, and two cats, Moo & Mercedes, will feel his absence deeply.  His warmth, generosity, and sense of humor touched countless lives, and he will be remembered with great affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
