Robena B. Smith, age 97 of Millville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in her home. Born in Statesville , North Carolina, she moved to New Jersey in 1934 and lived with her brother and sister-in-law Burley and Edna Beard. She met William H. Smith and they married in 1939. Robena had worked at Millville Hosiery and Frederick and Dimmock. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Robena is survived by two sons, John W. Smith and Ronald W. Smith; four grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Jared and Amanda; and one great- grandson, John C. Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service 2 PM Saturday at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday afternoon from 1 to 2 PM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
