Richard E. Finch, age 85 of Laurel Lake, passed away Monday morning, November 25, 2013, in his home.
Richard had been a Laurel Lake resident since 1969. He was an Army Veteran and had retired from Kerr Glass after 40 years of service as a mold maker. After his retirement, Richard worked for Dry Goods and Value City on the loading dock until the age of 75. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millville for many years.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Finch and a brother, Jan Finch.
Richard is survived by his aunt Katherine Thompson of Florida; one brother, Arthur Finch(Myra); two sisters, Susan Clark (Jim) and Louise Ford; and sister-in-law Carol Finch, all of Millville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service 10 AM Saturday at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, where there will be a viewing from 9 AM until 10 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
