Richard Henry Beck departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2026. He lived a full and rich life marked by curiosity, creativity, service, and ambition.

Richard was an entrepreneur and a successful hotel manager with a keen mind for business. A graduate of Fullerton College, he earned a degree in Hospitality and built a career that reflected both his professionalism and his natural ability to connect with people. He traveled abroad and embraced life as an adventurer, always drawn to new experiences and perspectives.

He was also an activist, a lover of music and art, a chef, and a devoted son, brother, uncle, and caretaker. Those who knew him will remember his generous spirit, his broad interests, and the many ways he enriched the lives of others.

He is survived by his parents: father Richard Beck and stepmother Kathy Beck; Mother Wilma Jackson and stepfather Allen Jackson; his siblings: Nancy Beck, Bonnie Beck, Cori Wilson and husband Toby Jacquet, Paul Wilson and wife Emily Li, Casey Wilson, and Jillian Beck and partner Eric Curly; and his nieces and nephews who adored and respected him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and service on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM, followed by the service at 8 PM. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Millville.
