Richard R.  Battistella, Sr., age 81 of Millville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, July 12, 2026, surrounded by his family at home.

Born in Jason, North Carolina, he has been a Millville resident since 1971 and was formerly of Vineland. Richard was a retired forklift operator and had worked at Gerresheimer Glass. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Okinawa. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian, and son John Moren.

Richard is survived by his children, Kenny Moren, Millie Welch, Charles Moren, Vicky Dutton, Joan Leek, Kim Battistella, Barbara Burkholder- Battistella, and Richard R. Battistella Jr.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. His funeral service will be conducted 12 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
