Obituary

Rhoda May Clark, 78, of Millville, NJ passed away on February 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She worked for Model Blouse and then Durand Glass in Millville.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was at the beach, camping with JT Sr. in Tennessee and Skyline Drive, family gatherings, spending time with her sister Carol at her candle shop and going to Smithville with Carol, daughter Denise and niece Shelly. She loved attending all activities that her children and grandchildren would do, like soccer games, dirt bike racing, and basketball just to name a few. Rhoda liked watching the deer in the yard or the hummingbirds that would fly around her beautiful flowers.

Rhoda was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking. Everyone had a favorite when it came to sweets, especially her banana cake, fudge, cheesecake, chocolate cake, and her famous baked beans just to name a few.

No matter the holiday or special event, she was the glue of our family. Every single day, without exception, each of us knew exactly when to expect our daily phone call. To share a little gossip, checkup on us or simply to say "I Love You" she never missed a call. Her steady presence and unwavering love were constants in our lives.

She is survived by her domestic partner, JT Banks Sr of 55 years. Her sister Carol Cossaboon (Dennis), sister- in-law Jenett Welsh (Pat), sister-in-law Joan Hart Clark, brother-in-law Lewis Perry and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rhoda was a beloved mother of four children, Jimmy Banks (Lori), Denise Hill (Brian), Eddie Clark, and JT Banks Jr (Cheryl).

She was a devoted and loving grandmother to nine grandchildren Ashley, Jimmy (Maria), JT III, Samantha (Karen), Malcolm (Julia), Kassidy, Caden, Gabbie and Aubree. Great grandmother to Karsyn, Kamryn, JT IV, Jillyan, Autumn, Ava and Delaney.

She was predeceased by her mother Lucy Clark, father Herschel Clark, brother Herk Clark, sister Janice Perry.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Barr Funeral Home 2104 East Main Street in Millville NJ from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service from 12pm-1pm. Burial will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville, NJ following the service.
