Ray Lewis Adkins, age 49 of Millville, passed away Friday morning at home. A lifelong resident of Millville, Ray had worked for Omni Baking in Vineland for the past nine years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed the thrill of life.
Ray is survived by his mother, Maggie Adkins; father, John Thomas Adkins and his wife Virginia; sons, Stephen Ray Adkins and wife Erin, and Edward Wright and wife Shelly; brother, Nicklous Adkins of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his view¬ing and funeral service on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM, followed by a funeral service at 8 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
