Ralph Keith Phillips, age 67, of West Side High Rise in Millville, went to be with the Lord July 10, 2023. He passed suddenly at home.

Born July 3, 1956 in Waynesville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Hardy W.  and Martha E. Ball Phillips of Millville, NJ. Ralph graduated from Millville High School and was a long-time resident of Millville. He was employed by Wheaton Glass for over 10 years.

Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Hardy W., and Martha Ellen Ball Phillips; one brother, Lester W. Phillips of Alabama; three sisters, Grace Phillips, Lucell Phillips, and Hilda Fay Phillips of Mt. Sterling, NC; three nephews, Lester Phillips, Jr., Christopher Lee Matias and Philip B. Humphreys, all of Millville.

Ralph is survived by his loving family, including his 9 siblings, Kathleen Phillips Miller and late husband, SSG-E6 Clifton H. Miller, of Vineland, NJ; Lytha Phillips McAlvey and late husband, Edgar, of Vineland; Mary A. Phillips Humphreys and her late husband, James Milton Humphreys, Jr. of Millville; Sue Phillips Mitchell and husband, Paul Mitchell, of Millville; Wanda Phillips Dewsnap and husband, Duke Dewsnap, of Millville; Ota Gay Phillips Grindstaff and late husband, Earl Grindstaff, of Cosby, TN; Jerry L. Phillips of Vineland, Patrick Phillips of Millville; Dale Phillips of Millville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Ralph loved family gatherings, dinners and telling jokes. He had such a happy laugh. He enjoyed quiet times sitting on the balcony of his apartment watching the swans on the river. He took pleasure in his morning walks with his brother Patrick to get their Wawa coffee. Ralph was an avid NASCAR fan and horse racing fan, and waited eagerly every year for the Daytona 500 and the Kentucky Derby. "Our family will miss our loving brother and his jokes and his special kindness laugh.

Ralph's memorial service will be held 11AM, Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
