Phyllis Janet Meyer (nee Huling) of Millville, NJ passed away peacefully April 29, 2015. Born on December 1, 1936 in Belleville, IL to Elvin Sr. and Dorothy Huling, she was a bookkeeper, organist, and business owner. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert G. Meyer, Jr., her son Ronald J. Meyer, her sister Penny Rose Huling, great-grandson Xavier M. Neill and her parents.
She had a knack for cultivating strong friendships. She will be deeply missed by everyone with whom she played cards, country lined danced, traveled, bowled and played softball. She was an incredibly talented seamstress, painter, and cook as well.
Phyllis is survived by her 3 sons, Michael (Dani) Meyer, Scott (Sheila) Meyer, and Gary (Shirley) Meyer; as well as her grandchildren, Adrienne (Jim) Baird, Michael Meyer, Jr., Tiffany (Michael) Lea, Melanie Meyer, and Gary Meyer, Jr. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Camryn Alexander, Lucas DeGeorge, and Michael Lea, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 6 PM Monday at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, where there will be a viewing from 4 PM to 6 PM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
