Peter J. "Biff" Bisacquino
March 8,1940 - January 26, 2025
Affectionately known to friends and family as "Biff ", he departed this life at Inspira Health on Sunday, January 26, after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. Biff was a family man and a kind hearted and gentle soul. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and those who knew him could attest to the amazing man he was.
He was a devoted & loving husband to Judith (Kolodchak), an amazing stepfather to Kristi Abel of Millville and Pam Abel & Kathy Pacentrilli of Somers Point and doting grandfather to Chase Farabella and his fiance Taylor Groves, of Vineland, whom he absolutely adored, as well as many dear friends and family members.
A member of All Saints Parish (St. John Bosco) in Millville, Biff was a man who clearly lived by his Catholic faith.
He was born and raised in Landisville where his ambition and strong work ethic led him to his first job in farming, at the young age of 7. At the age of 20, he worked as a draftsman for Maul Bros. and gradually worked up to managerial positions in the engineering Dept and design manufacturing. In the early 1980's, Biff worked as Vice President of Dorchester Engineering, Wheaton Glass Co. Throughout his engineering career, Biff supervised equipment installation at various glass factories, designed glass molds and the machinery to manufacture glass bottles, and designed and built glass factories worldwide such as the U.S., Canada, Malaysia, Iraq, China, Beirut, Mexico, Brazil and many other countries. He enjoyed his worldwide travel and learning about the places he traveled to and was always excited to share stories with his family and friends over a hot cup of coffee when he returned home. Biff also worked as deckhand on an Oyster Boat for Bivalve packing in Port Norris, NJ, a farmhand for Budd Orr in Greenwich, and as a construction volunteer rebuilding and remodeling at numerous places like The Historic Barraca Dunn House in Millville, St. John Bosco/St. Mary's Catholic Church, The Army Museum at the Millville airport, to mention a few, as well as remodeling at home and helping numerous friends with their remodels. He also enjoyed farming with his friends Ed Pio and Dick Goldstine and helping his friend Chet Ladyga, who was more like family to him, on various jobs at his shop.
Biff was a lifelong member of the NRA. He thoroughly enjoyed old westerns, had a strong love for horses and his cowboy boots, and an appreciation for the Native American culture, collecting coins, arrowheads, knives. His dream was to move to Wyoming to the Great Teton Mountains and although that dream never came to be while here with us, he will likely continue on with that in the afterlife. He thoroughly enjoyed living life with his wife and best friend of 44 years, Judy, whom he adored. He also enjoyed beach days, traveling and simply spending time with his beloved family.
Biff was predeceased by his parents Charles and Josephine (Appalucci) Bisacquino, his Brother, Charles Bisacquino and sister, Jeannette Bisacquino Debbi, his Mother-in-law Dora (Crowley) Kolodchak Porreca and brother-in-law, John "Crowley" Kolodchak and his fur baby, Coco.
Biff will be dearly missed, but never forgotten, by his family and friends. Those wishing to honor him, may pay their last respects by attending a Catholic Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11AM at All Saints Parish on Buck Street in Millville. Inurnment for Biff's final ride off into the sunset will be private and will be held at a later date.
Donations in lieu of flowers in Biff's memory can be made to All Saints Parish of Millville or Millville Army Airfield Museum.
