Peggy E. Easmunt, devoted wife and mother, passed away Friday evening in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. Born in Millville, she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Fourth United Methodist Church in Millville where she had served as President of Clara Jones Sunday School Class, the Pastor Relations, Nominating and Missions committees.
She is predeceased by her most beloved husband, Basil; her parents, James and Lillian Goodwin; her siblings, Delores Flanagan, Dorothy Edwards, James Goodwin and Donna Mellor.
Peggy is survived by: her daughter Barbara L. Smith and her husband Russell; son, Bruce Easmunt and his wife Jennifer; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service 10 AM Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. There will be a viewing Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and from 9 AM to 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
