Mildred G. Hart, 87 of Vineland, died at home September 11, 2012 following a lengthy illlness.
Born in Millville Hospital, she lived in Millville for most of her life.
Mildred had worked for Millville Dye and Finishing Company for several years. She left Millville Dye to begin working at Millville Hospital, a career that lasted for thirty years. During her career at Millville Hospital she spent most of those years as a pharmacy technician which she enjoyed very much.
She sang and traveled with the Singing Ambassadors of Vineland. She loved to travel and had a special fondness for lighthouses.
Mildred is predeceased by her parents, Anna and Earl Nickerson, her husband Alfred J. Hart and a brother Charles Nickerson. She is survived by one daughter, Sarah L. Hart, one brother Earl Wesley Nickerson, Jr. and his wife Doris, one sister-in-law Carolyn Nickerson and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mildred's Memorial Service 12 Noon Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, where they may visit with the family from 11 AM to 12 Noon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
