Michael P. Quinn, age 74, of Millville, died Monday, February 3, 2025, at Inspira Health, Vineland, after a brief illness.

Mike was born in Millville and was a life-long resident. He was a Correction Officer at Bayside State Prison, retiring in 1997 as a Lieutenant, after over 25 years of service.

Mike was a member of The Millville Elks Lodge #580, where he served as Exalted Ruler from 1975-1976. He was a volunteer firefighter, Section 4 Forest Fire Crew, for New Jersey State Forestry Services.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Paul J. and Carol (Griffiths) Quinn; his brother Kevin J. Quinn; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy J. Quinn; and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. Griffiths. He is survived by his cousins, Sharon (Keith) Cronin of Sacramento, CA., Lisa (Scott) Johnston of Minden, LA., Greg (Valerie) Dunn of Cave Springs, AR, and his dear friends, the Cossaboon and Huff families, who assisted in the care of Mike during his illness.

Mike, like his dad, Paul and his brother, Kevin, spent his life as a public servant. He was passionate about The Elks and his service as a volunteer firefighter; through these groups he enjoyed an extended "family" he loved fiercely.

Mike loved the Poconos, whether he was hunting or just socializing. The cabin was a special place he and his dad helped build.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Millville.
