Michael Julius Cooman, age 85 of Millville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2022.

Michael (Michel) was born in Paramaribo, Suriname. Michael was a beloved husband, devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Yvonne (Wonny), his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and brothers.

Maikel, Marcel & Hannah, Roy✝️ & Maureen and Alida & Myckel.

Grandchildren and partners:

Dave & Osje, Joy & Pieter-Jan, Dean & Max and Sergio & Rachel.

Great grandchildren:

Adonai, Emanuella, Dario and Muriel.

His brothers:

Ronald and Edmund.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's viewing and funeral service on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 142 Port Elizabeth - Cumberland Road, Port Elizabeth, New Jersey 08348. Visitation begins at 11AM, followed by the service from 12 to 12:30PM. The family invites all to a luncheon at the John Boggs Hall next to the church; 152 Port Elizabeth - Cumberland Road.
