Michael R. Burchfield, 62, of Millville, passed away unexpectedly at the hospital on Monday, December 8th, 2025. Michael was born in Bridgeton, NJ, grew up in Brickboro, NJ, and resided in Millville, NJ throughout his adult life.

Mike was a friend to all, and most knew him affectionately as "Uncle Mike." He was the proud owner and barber of Shear Artistry, as well as a longtime bartender at Larry's Bar for over 30 years. His wisdom, humor, generosity, and deep love for his family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Mike loved spending his time bragging about his grandkids and family, crafting new drinks, painting and woodworking, watching sports, and making everyone laugh. He had a true gift for connecting with people. Mike was also a devoted lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

He is survived by his beloved children: daughter Mykaela Burchfield (Coby Bruno); son Michael J. Burchfield (Samantha Kuhn); and daughter Melissa Burchfield (Edward Rink). He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Colton Bruno, Haislee Bruno, Harper Burchfield, Annalese Ballato, Gabriel Ballato, and Avrielle Burchfield; and his great-granddaughter, Isla Hayman. He is also survived by his beloved partner, Amy Holliday, and stepchildren Karter, Arabella, and Rhyland. Additional survivors include his brothers William Burchfield, Herbert Burchfield, Otis Burchfield, and Joseph Burchfield; his sisters Carolyn Miller and Helen Welch; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, April Burchfield; his mother, Annie Burchfield; his father, Otis Burchfield; and his sisters Phyllis Riley, Reba Dooley, and LouAnn Irizarry (Burchfield).

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a small service. Memorial donations and flower arrangements may be delivered to Barr Funeral Home.
