Michael J. Ayars, Sr, age 77, passed away on August 15, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia to Lewis Ayars, Sr. and Sabina (Lucille) Bertollini, Michael was a longtime Millville resident and had worked at Wheaton Glass for over 50 years as a hot end specialist and retired as plant manager. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol; daughter, Maryann; and siblings, Harry, Lucille, Carol, and Lewis.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael J. Jr. and his wife Regina, Mark and his wife Penny, David, Daniel and his wife Jennifer, Carol Ayars and Richard Ortiz; sisters, Nancy Pacheco and Alice Middleman; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and girlfriend, Billie Carpenter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's funeral service 1 PM Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville, where there will be a viewing from 11 AM to 1 PM. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
