Melvin Morris III, "Rinky" age 80 of Millville, passed away Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014, in the Cumberland Manor . Melvin passed peacefully, surrounded by his family. He had worked as a garment cutter for Rennoc Corp until his retirement in 1996. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. Melvin was an avid Philadelphia Eagle and Phillies fan and enjoyed shooting at the Cumberland Rifleman's Assn. He had a great sense of humor and brightened everyone's day with his jokes.

Melvin was predeceased by his parents,Ella Mae and Melvin Morris, Jr., his wife Joan, and a grandson Steven Morris, Jr. He is survived by: 4 children, Darlene Madara and her husband Robert, Joanne McMillan, Brenda Carpani and her husband Dominick, and Steven Morris and his wife Tammy; 5 grandchildren, Ian McMillan, Christin and Elizabeth Carpani, and Krystal and Tiara Morris; 1 great grandson, Carson Homan; 3 step grandchildren, Brenda, Pamela and Heather; 11 great step grandchildren, 1 great great stepgranchild, and two sisters, Ella Mae Densten and Georgeanna Wright.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Melvin's viewing and funeral service on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 AM to 12 Noon, followed by the funeral service 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
