Melissa Ann Headley, age 8 of Millville, passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 in Cooper University Medical Center due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Vineland on October 22, 2006 and was a second grade student at the Rieck Avenue School. She was an honor roll student and was recently accepted into the Gifted and Talented Program. Melissa was a member of Girl Scout Troop # 51203 and a parishioner of St. Isadore Church, Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, where she sang in the children's choir. Her family had just come together to celebrate her First Holy Communion in April.

Melissa is survived by: her father, Thomas Headley; Grandparents, Bob and Agnes Sharp; Grandmother, Mary Yanson; Grandmother, Cathy Headley; Great Grandfather, Frank Ferrillo; Uncles, Jerry, Frank, Tim and Wes Headley; Aunt Jamie Eisle; Uncle Robert Kirschenbaum, and numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial 1 PM Thursday at St. Isidore the Farmer Church, Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, 1655 Magnolia Road in Vineland. There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 PM and Thursday morning from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street in Millville. Burial will follow mass in Holy Cross Cemetery in Millville. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to benefit the youth programs at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.
