Lisa Winston, 59, of Millville, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Born May 21, 1967, she was a woman of strength and faith who loved her family deeply. Lisa worked as a caregiver at Woodbine State School and also for The Daily Journal, and she dedicated countless hours volunteering at her church and the Trinity First Hope Center. She treasured attending church events and her love for Jesus, spending time with her grandchildren, and family trips. Her warm heart and devotion to others will be remembered by all who knew her. Lisa leaves behind her children: Leslie Laboy, Jason Phillips (Brittany), Robert Phillips, Ashley Forman-Phillips, Jerry Winston (Jaclyn), Jerica Winston, and Joshua, Jacob Williams; her brother, Lenny Phillips (Jennifer), sister Shirley Phillips; and 19 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jack Fossbenner officiating at Barr Funeral Home with visitation from 10 AM to 11AM. A reception following at the First Methodist Church.
