It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Linda DeSerio Caputa, who left peacefully on the morning of December 7 ^th , surrounded by those that loved her most.

Linda was the wife of the late John A. Caputa, devoted mother to David Caputa and his wife Linda, and grandmother of Matthew, Allyson and Kristin Caputa. She loved earnestly, cared tenderly, and above all will be remembered for her passionate commitment to family and God.

Linda was born on July 16, 1938 in Newark, New Jersey and later moved to Tracy, California where she attended Stockton University. At Stockton she met and later married John Caputa in 1959. During the 59 years they spent loving each other, Linda and John were able to achieve remarkable success. During their time traveling with the Marines, Linda volunteered in orphanages, schools, and churches- seeking any opportunity to help the under-served. After retiring with John, Linda spent her time working at McNaughton's Garden Center, worshiping in Cherry Hill, and spending time with her family.

Linda was known for her generosity, compassion and kindness. Throughout her life, she never wavered as a voice for humanity. She spoke out against anything unjust and supported those in need. She cherished the importance of children and nature, and truly nurtured everything in her presence. She embodied what it meant to live a life of servitude and cared deeply for everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Family and friends will gather at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E Main St, Millville, NJ on Thursday, December 13 for visitation at 10:30 a.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery
