Leslie E. Dutton, age 87 of Millville, passed away Monday evening, December 10, 2012. A lifelong resident of Millville, Leslie was a member of the American Legion Post 82 and VFW Post 2169 of Millville. Leslie served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for Kimble Glass and Owen Illinois for 44 years, retiring in 1987.
He was predeceased by his grandson Anthony L. Dutton, brother, Carl, and sisters Olive Norcross and Dorothy Hunter.
Leslie is survived by his wife of 64 years Virgie; one son Lewis M. Dutton and his wife Sylvia; two sisters, Mary Andrews and Helen Edwards; three grandchildren, Staci, Hollie and Jacob Dutton; two great-grandchildren, Kamrin Camba and Lilly Jones and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing Friday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. The funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
