Leona Mae Jewett, age 48 of Millville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Born in Athol, Mass., she was raised in Millville. She lived in South Carolina for 16 years, returning to Millville 3 years ago. She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Geraldine Jewett, and a brother Bill.
Leona Mae is survived by her loving children, daughter, Danielle Levindofske and her husband Aaron and their daughter Le`Ana Rae, and son, Jay Popolo, Jr. and his fiancé Courtney and their daughter McKenzie Lee Mae; her former husband, dear friend and father of Danielle and Jay Jr., Jay Popolo, Sr.; 3 sisters, Holly Moore and her husband Bill, Cheryl Parent and her husband Butch, and Melissa Taylor and her husband Fletcher; 3 brothers, Keith Messier, Rick Jewett and Gilbert Stites, Jr.; special niece Nikki Moore Carter and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Leona Mae was loved dearly by her family and many friends, and will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Leona Mae's funeral service 12 Noon Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, where there will be a viewing from 11 AM to 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
