Kyrsten E. Makos, a junior at Millville High School, passed away Friday January 23, 2015. Kyrsten was a happy go lucky, loving person who loved spending time with her friends, joking, texting, and being a second mom to her brother and sister. Kyrsten would not shy away from any challenge and was known to go so far as to eat a caterpillar but was sweet enough to bring a smile to all she was with.
She was a member of the Millville Senior High Softball Team, the Tidal Wave and Starfire Softball Teams.
She is predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Linda Montgomery and her Uncle Andrew Surace.
Kyrsten is survived by: her parents, Jenna L. Makos and John R. Makos III; her sister, Kailey; her brother, Levi; maternal grandfather, Andrew Surace and wife Kathleen; grandmother, Judy Fisher and husband Chris; paternal grandfather, Arthur Montgomery; Uncles and Aunts, Ryan and Anastasia Surace, Bethany and Ron Savrese; Gabby Surace; TJ Libro; Delaney Libro; Adrian and Newell Pettit; Brian and Donna Makos; and many close cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service 1:30 PM Thursday at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be viewing from 10 AM until 1:30 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
