Joseph G. Lawson, Jr., 69, of Millville passed away Saturday morning in South Jersey Healthcare in Vineland. He was predeceased by his parents, Sarah Horton and Joseph Lawson, Sr., brother, Wlater Lawson and first wife Sabina.
Joe is survived by three sons, Jeffrey, Eric and Joseph Lawson, III; six grand-daughters that he loved dearly; long time companion Judith Pettit; six sisters, Freda Ledford, Viola Patrick, Victoria Pinto, Margaret Shelton, Doris Vohringer and Alma Carty ; two brothers William and Raymond Lawson and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service 11am Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 am to 11 am Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery.
