John E. Stahlberger, Jr., age 48 of Millville, passed away Tuesday morning, June 12, 2012, at SJ Healthcare in Vineland, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeton, he graduated from Cumberland Regional High School and attended Cumberland County College. He worked for Prudential Insurance and most recently he was a security officer at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. John has been a Millville resident for 10 years. He was predeceased by his grandparents Christian and Elsa Maier and Anton and Eva Stahlberger and his stepfather John Lewis.
John is survived by his mother, Wilma Maier Lewis of Millville, father, John E. Stahlberger, Sr. of FL, brother, Scott Stahlberger and wife Marisol of Millville, nieces and nephews Shauna, Timothy, Nicholas and Josue` and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service 1PM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 11:30 AM to 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private following the service.
