John M. Carole, Sr. age 53 of Port Elizabeth, passed away Friday morning. Born in Millville Hospital, John was raised and lived in Port Elizabeth all of his life. He graduated from Millville High School in 1979. He married the love of his life, Kathy, in 1991. John was a mason by trade and had worked for the Bricklayers Union of Atlantic City and had his own business JC Masonry. He was a member of Port Elizabeth Church of the Nazarene. He liked gardening, hunting, fishing, clamming and camping. He enjoyed all types of music and playing his harmonica.
John is predeceased by his parents Cecelia Marie and George Carole, Sr. and his brother David.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Carole; his children Katie M. Carole and John M. Carole, Jr.; grandson, Wyatt J. Pew; brothers, George Carole, Jr. and Craig Carole; sister, Cynthia Ann Carole; Uncle and Aunt, Bud and Luz Slimmer; Aunt Dorothy Firus; best friend and cousin, Gene Garron and best friends Mark and Linwood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing and funeral service on Friday evening, October 3, 2014. There will be a viewing from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Barr Funeral Home 2104 E. Main Street in Millville; followed by the funeral service 8 PM. Cremation will be private.
