John Steven Archer, age 57 of Pittsgrove, passed away Monday evening, August 9, 2021.

Born in Mt. Holly, John has been a resident of Cumberland and Salem counties since the 1980's. He was a retired Senior Corrections Officer, having served 25 years at Southern State Correctional Facility where he served as an Honor Guard for the past 20 years. What John loved the most was spending time with the Love of His Life, his wife Tracy, in which they shared 23 together, married 20 years, and with their Beautiful Amazing son John Jr. (Lil John). They enjoyed their trips to Lancaster PA together, and would visit often.

John enjoyed music, gaming/play station,  had a passion for Ford Mustangs and 4 wheelers, was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Bills fan and also rooted for the Eagles.

John was predeceased by his parents, John "Jack" Archer and Barbara Ann Locke, his mother-in-law, Brenda K. Carder, and best friend, Al Ritzler.

John is loved and will be missed by his loving wife, Tracy Archer; son, John Archer, Jr; father-in-law whom he thought of as "Dad", Ellsworth Jenkins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be private as per John's wishes.
