James H. Hogan Jr. died Saturday, September 14, 2013 after a short battle with lung cancer. Jim was a graduate of Cumberland County College, and Villanova University. He retired from Bayside State Prison in 2010 after over 25 years of service in education. Jim was an active member of New Life Church in Millville, NJ. He devoted his life to bringing people to Jesus. Jim was often seen on the streets of Millville and Vineland doing Evangelization work. Jim was also a familiar face at the Millville BPOE, where he was a life-time member. James is survived by his wife Barbara of Millville, and his two sons Scott Hogan of Glassboro, NJ, and Christopher Hogan of Kingsville, TX. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening, September 17th from 7-9pm at New Life Church, 201 Blue Bird Lane, Millville, NJ 08332; and again Wednesday morning from 10-11am at New Life Church followed by funeral services from 11am-12pm. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Millville, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Life World Outreach Ministries
