Gerald W. Reeves, Sr., passed away Saturday morning, June 6, 2015. Known as "Hook" to his friends, Gerald was a lifelong Millville resident. Hook had worked at Wheaton Glass and Gerresheimer Glass Inc. for 48 years. He was a member of the Millville Elks BPOE # 580 and an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Phillies, Eagles and LA Angels games. He enjoyed spending time with his family and could always be found enjoying dinner with his Jim's Lunch family and having a few beers with the boys at the Elks. Gerald was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Reeves, his brothers, Howard, Carl, Raymond, sister, Dorothy Mentzer; and his son-in-law, Mark Taylor.
Gerald is survived by: his children, Gerald W. Reeves, Jr. and his fiancée, Robin Ford; and Monica Lynn Taylor and her fiancé, Nick Siniavsky; granddaughters, McKenzie, Macy and Molly Taylor; and brothers, Vernon Reeves and his wife Bobbie Lu of Fayetteville, NC and Ronald Reeves and his wife Margie of Port Elizabeth, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gerald's viewing and funeral services on Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 7 PM to 9 PM Thursday evening and from 10 AM to 11 AM Friday morning followed by his funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt.
