Garry D. Cheesman, Jr., 47, of Millville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Garry was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold and a smile and a hug for everyone he met - to know him was to love him.  Garry was a natural entertainer and lit up every room he entered.  If you knew him then you have been lucky enough to be entertained by one of his impromptu freestyles and unique dance moves on numerous occasions.

A Millville High School Class of 1994 graduate, Garry was a member of the Wrestling and Baseball teams.  After graduation he worked at Bybel's Country Daycare for 11 years as both a bus driver and a counselor and loved working with children almost as much as they loved him. He was an avid horseshoe and cornhole player and was a member of Hump Day Horseshoes. As a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, Garry loved to watch football games with his brother-in-law, Jay.

Garry will be sadly missed by his parents, Garry and Debra Cheesman; grandmother, Charlotte "Cookie" Taylor; sister, Dawn Brown and husband Jay; brother, Deric Cheesman and wife Heather; nephews, Brandon Rocco, Jason Brown, Jr. and fiancé Aubrey; nieces, Emmi and Ella Cheesman, his 3 fur babies and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who all loved him dearly. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Bianca Taylor Cheesman, who was the one true love of his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Garry on Friday March 3, 2023 at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 1 PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family and sent to Robert Nuskey, 807 Pleasant Drive, Millville, NJ 08332.
