Francis E. Riley, Jr. of Millville, passed away on his 96 ^th birthday, January 3, 2022.

In his early years, Francis worked in his dad's garage before enlisting in the Navy during WWII. He served aboard the USS Edison, a destroyer that served in the Mediterranean Sea providing fire support for the landings in Sicily. After the war, he worked at a shoe factory in Woodbine before starting a career at Airwork in Millville, retiring after 40 years. Francis was a member of Nabb-Leslie Post 82 of Millville.

He was predeceased by wives Alice, Caroline, and Peggy; daughter-in-law, Noreen, and grandchildren, Aimee and Keven.

Francis is survived by 2 sons, Francis Riley III and his wife Kelly and Clay Riley; grandchildren, Christine McCray and husband Rudy, David Riley and wife Jennifer; 9 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Francis' funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis' memory to NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
