Emily Marie Alvino "Toodles", age 89 of Millville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning surrounded by her family.
Born in Millville, she was the daughter of Theodore and Elsie Carr, and was a lifelong resident of Millville. Emily had worked at IVEX and Wheaton Glass until she left to raise a family. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, going to the casinos, bingo, horse racing, her collection of owls, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, son, Nicholas, and son-in-law, Larry.
Emily is survived by a daughter, Karen Yunk, one sister, Joan Jakelwicz (Ronnie), two grandsons, Michael and his wife Michelle and Matthew and his wife Lauren, and two great grandsons, Jack and Max.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 10 AM Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, where there will be a viewing from 9 AM to 10 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
