Elsie May Friebel, age 85, of Millville, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 19, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

Elsie was born in Salem, NJ, and graduated from Salem High School in 1957. She married Edmund Friebel, Jr. on February 6, 1960. She worked at Prudential Insurance Co. in Millville for most of her career. After retiring, she worked as a waitress at Country Rose Restaurant and volunteered at Millville Hospital. Elsie loved going to the beaches, shopping and traveling on bus trips. She was predeceased by her parents, Luke and Rose Randall.

Elsie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edmund Friebel, Jr.; son, Edmund Friebel 3rd and his wife, Kellie Risdon Friebel; daughter, Karen Woolbert and her husband, Charles; grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Chad Risdon Friebel and Justin Woolbert; and a great granddaughter, Brooklin Clark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. There will be a viewing from 10 AM until 11 AM, followed the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
