Ekaterina Ulbrich, age 78 of Millville, passed away Thursday morning, August 20, 2026. She passed peacefully at home with her family at her side.

was born in Germany in 1947 and moved to the United States in 1949. She was raised in Millville and spent most of her life in Millville. She married Richard J. Ulbrich and while raising a family she worked nights and attended school to earn a degree in Nursing. For many years, she worked at the Woodbine Developmental Center.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and going to yard sales. She and her husband were always together and loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ekaterina was predeceased by her parents, Andrey and Eugenia Kononov, brother, Anthony Kononov, and stepson, Richard Ulbrich, Jr..

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard J. Ulbrich,  daughters, Patti Tomlinson and husband Rusty, Marianne Erhart and husband Russell, and Marie Dilks and husband David; step daughters Terri Bieniecki and husband David and Brenda Boyle and husband David; grandchildren, Nat Costante, Stephen Mahon, Nicholas Richmond (Annalee), Joshua Erhart, Eric Lomberk, and Shelby Schweitzer; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Richmond, Nicholas Richmond, Jr., and Shaun Richmond; and several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be private.
