Edward Gonteski, of Millville, passed on April 8,2026, surrounded by family.

Edward was born on March 24,1944 in Riverside NJ. He was 1 of 10 children born to John Gonteski, Sr. and Sarah Sheppard Gonteski. He is survived by 3 siblings. The love of his life was Ozzie. They spent most of their lives together. Ed worked for the Vineland Developmental School. He spent many years caring for special needs clients. His 2 Best friends, Cruz and Merk, were everything to him. They were his closest friends and Ed always loved to spend time in Atlantic City with them. His niece Mary Goff and her Husband Robert Goff spent many years caring for Ed.

Ed loved going to Atlantic City, his dogs, his besties and God. He devoted his life to the Catholic Church. He was an usher for many years. He was a die-hard Phillies fan and also loved his Philadelphia Eagles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edward's Memorial Mass 10 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Casimir Church, 502 New Jersey Ave, Riverside, NJ 08075.
