Edmund Friebel, Jr., age 89, of Millville, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at home.

Edmund was born in Salem, NJ, and graduated from Salem High School. He served in the US Air Force from 1957 – 1961 and was stationed in Alabama. He married his high school sweetheart, Elsie May Randall, on February 8, 1960. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Edmund worked for Boeing and then Kimble Glass until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf well into his 80s and was an avid fisherman and duck hunter. He looked forward to time at the duck cabin with Joe, Mike, Dustin, Chad, and Ed. He loved working in his yard. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie, parents, Edmund and Anna and his sister Ann.

Edmund is survived by his son, Edmund Friebel 3rd and his wife, Kellie Risdon Friebel; daughter, Karen Woolbert and her husband, Charles; grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Chad Risdon Friebel and Justin Woolbert; and a great granddaughter, Brooklin Clark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. There will be a viewing from 10 AM until 11 AM, followed the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
