Edith M. Burns, 95, passed away peacefully, at home on Friday March 25, 2022, after a brief illness while under the care of her daughter Elaine and Hospice.

Edith was a lifelong resident of Millville. She was well known for her skills as a seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crossword and jig-saw puzzles.

Edith is survived by two sons: Milton W. Burns, Jr. (Barbara); Dale R. Burns (Andi); daughter Elaine L. Dick; Grandchildren Michelle Crilley and family; Michael Burns and family; and Terri Negron and family.

In addition to her husband, Milton W. Burns, Sr., Edith was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Louisa (Heidenreich) Hickman, five sisters and one brother.

At Edith's request, there was no viewing nor funeral. Interment was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the supervision of Barr Funeral Home.
