Doris R. Ryan, age 89 formerly of Millville, passed away May 8, 2016 at Washington County Health Center in Washington, PA, where she had lived for the last 18 months.
Doris was born in Millville, graduated from Millville Senior High School and married Joseph Ryan, Jr. on June 14, 1951. She had worked as a telephone operator, a cafeteria worker for Millville public school system, and also worked at the State of NJ Unemployment office in Vineland, where she held various positions. Doris was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millville. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. Ryan, Jr. who died in 1984.
Doris is survived by 3 sons, Kristopher, Joseph and Richard; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ron Frantz ; 2 grandchildren, Kerrie and Kristopher J. Ryan, and 2 nieces, Pam and Vikki.
Graveside services will be private for the family in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
